SURPRISE GEOMAGNETIC STORM

SURPRISE GEOMAGNETIC STORM: Last night, sky watchers in northern-tier US states were surprised when auroras appeared during a brief but intense geomagnetic storm. Don't miss another storm: Subscribers to our Space Weather Alert Service received an instant text message when the storm broke out, giving sky watchers in the aurora zone a chance to rush outside and see the show.
